Honestly beats bonchon imo. Plus it's in this massive store that I car browse while waiting for the the food. So double win.
Food is delicious. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The Korean style fried chicken wings are so crispy and saucy. I've been here multiple times and will keep going!
Yeah it was 5 minute wait for rice and honey garlic wings. You have to find the joint in the far back corner of super market . I will be coming back for the spicy or k-dak
We got CocoDak to satisfy our korean fried chicken craving and it wasn't bad! The flavors were good (I felt like the sauce was a little on the thick side though), and the chicken is very reasonably priced. There was only one worker when we went, but he was very nice. We got the soy garlic and spicy garlic wings. They were very crunchy and tender. I even reheated the chicken the next day, and I swear it tasted even better. Good place if you are craving fried chicken. They even fry fish here, so you can get some fish from the deli and fry it!
Pretty good Korean fried chicken. They're located inside a grocery store as part of their hot food line offering. The menu isn't the most extensive, but it hits the spot when you have a hankering for crispy fried chicken. I ordered their original sweet onion chicken and a couple of their lunch boxes to-go for my family to enjoy. The sweet onion chicken was fried perfectly. They packaged the onions and sauce separately so that the chicken stays crispy. I like onions so this was right up my alley. I would avoid this if you don't like raw onions, however. Their lunch boxes were pretty good too. It comes with 4 wings, rice, and veggies on the side. We got the honey garlic and the soy garlic sauces for the chicken. Both sauces were nicely balanced and did not overpower the fried chicken.
Saw this on Yelp a few weeks ago, and today (10-21-23) my son and I made it in. I ordered the Soy garlic chicken drumsticks. Took about 10 minutes for our order to be ready. While waiting we walked around the grocery store and started to pick up sweet treats around this International grocery store. That will be another Yelp review. We got home and devoured the soy garlic fried chicken with day old white rice. My son said " It has a kick to it" I said "It's GOOOOOODDDD" will definitely be coming back. And there's more, they will fry the fish that you bought from the store there. No mess or smell at home
Grabbed some chicken from here after walking by it inside of the market. The sweet onion chicken caught our eye. I asked for a side of radish and he said it came with it already, so I didn't need to order the extra. I should've checked the bag because when we got home, there was no radish at all! We live 40 mins away so of course no radish for me. The sweet onion sauce and onions are packaged separately which is good so the chicken doesn't get soggy. Love the thinly sliced onions and the tangy sauce. Chicken itself was pretty juicy and tender but crispy on the outside, Korean fried chicken is the best! Just needed my radish on the side though to complete the meal.
